

MICRON brings together the wide variety of microbiology being undertaken on the Norwich Research Park (NRP) by scientists at the John Innes Centre, the Sainsbury Laboratory, the Institute of Food Research and the University of East Anglia.
The city of Norwich, 115 miles (185 km) north-east of London, is the UK’s premier site for research in microbiology, with over 30 groups involved in this exciting area of science. Microbial research in Norwich is generating important discoveries that have potential applications in the fields of pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food processing and environmental monitoring and remediation.
